“Do I get stress headaches at work? Yes, definitely. From the moment I get in, it’s “Denise we need this! Denise we need that!” Which is stressful… ‘cause my name is Linda. Denise is the other black woman that works here. By 10am, someone in the copy room makes a joke about Kobe Bryant, and everyone looks at me to make sure it’s ok. And I smile like it’s ok. But really, my head and neck are starting to throb. Then I spend the rest of my afternoon training my interns, and answering their questions, like, “Yes, black people use shampoo”, and, “No, I don’t know any good reggae clubs around here”, and, “Yes, Condoleezza Rice is very articulate, why do you sound so surprised?” And, “No, I can’t tell you where to buy weed!” And that’s when I reach for Excedrin.”

- Reason for Being Hated: Gets in the way of fandom’s OTP (Inuyasha/Kagome), brought back to life (against her will), cold, just an overall “bitch.”
I’m a huge Kikyo fan so I’d beg to differ on her being a bitch.
Kikyou is not a bitch, she is just a cold person and considering her past it’s not exactly hard to see why. I love Kiykou because of how tragic her character is. She never asked to be brought back to life nor did she ask for her soul to be ripped in half and reincarnated.
As for her getting in the way of InuYasha/Kagome. If InuYasha keeps going to see her then that’s his own damn fault. He could just say “bye bye bye” but he doesn’t so if you are going to put blame on someone he’s just as much to blame.

- Reason for Being Hated: Annoying stalker towards Bugs Bunny, her original personality from “Space Jam” disappeared causing her to be only a cliche love interest, portrayed as a dumb blonde. (Note from submitter: Lola Bunny was a really awesome character when she appeared in Space Jam, she was the badass out of all of the characters that were in that movie. Though when this new cartoon appeared, they changed her into an offensive dumb blonde that seemed to offend a lot of people/fans of this character, thus hated now)
What I find annoying about “new Lola” is that it is clearly just a way to appease everyone who hated the character in the first place by basically making fun of her. And it’s annoying. Lola was not the most creative way to incorporate more female characters into the Looney Tunes world, but as a girl at that age do you have any idea how cool it was to see a bad-ass girl playing basketball? She is a harmless character (I just feel people were pissed that their precious Bugs was interested in a girl].
They took almost every negative female stereotype about women (and to a degree especially blonde women) and turned that into Lola. That’s not making her a toon. That’s not making her interesting. It’s just annoying.
Better the Sue that entertains you than the Sue that annoys you.
